On 28 May, the hydrogen mobility event organised by Wien Energie GmbH took place at the Smart Campus of Wiener Netze GmbH. More than 50 experts from the logistics and fleet industry were able to experience hydrogen mobility at first hand.
More than ten different hydrogen vehicles were exhibited during this event, including Austria’s first hydrogen bus, which was implemented as part of the HyBus Implementation project in Vienna in December 2021.
The HyBus Implementation project was developed as part of the Codex partnership of the Green Energy Center Europe in Innsbruck, which researches the two crucial processes “Power on Demand” and “Power to Hydrogen” for the reconstruction of the energy system towards climate neutrality and energy autonomy. The knowledge necessary for the implementation of real economic projects is gained in the two research centers E-West and HyWest. The HyBus project is managed here under HyWest and handled by FEN Research.
