Optimizing the “Power on Demand” Process.

Optimizing the “Power on Demand” Process.

The climate, energy and resource strategy programme “Tirol 2050 energy autonomous” is associated with a massive reconstruction of the energy system to optimized electricity applications (E. Fleischhacker 2014). The “target convergence work” associated with the reconstructionof the system requires, among other things, a well-founded examination of the “power on demand” process resulting from the task. FEN Research GmbH, which specializes in system and logistics work, has set up the E-West Research Center at the Green Energy Center Europe in Innsbruck for this purpose. In recent years, numerous activities and projects focusing on E-mobility have been initiated in this context. This process began with the creation of consulting and training tools for the conversion of vehicle fleets to E-mobility. The current focus of process research is on barrier-free access to E-mobility via sharing and charging concepts and the optimized use of heat pumps in conjunction with corresponding heat demand improvement measures in residential construction.
